Today we flew to North Carolina and joined up with Mom, Dad and the rest of the campaign. ÝWe're getting used to traveling with Secret Service protection and are thrilled that our amazing bus driver, Jay, has returned to the trail. ÝDad held a town hall meeting at the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce this afternoon and tomorrow he'll deliver a speech at Wake Forest University. ÝWe'll head to Michigan after the speech and to New York on Wednesday. ÝIt should be a good week ahead!

"Viewer Mail Volume 8"
POSTED BY MEGHAN
ON 05.03.08 8:10 PM

The campaign is taking a break this weekend. So while we're off for a few days, here's another installment of viewer mail. We'll be back on the trail Monday!

Ryan from Dublin, California writes:
I just stumbled onto your site, and what an amazing site it is. I am a 24 year old country boy from California, I know hard to believe. I am glad that you and your friends are taking the time to produce these blogs. In a time when people are disgruntled with poltics and the world, your blog gives me security. People only have to read and watch your blogs for a short time to realize that you and your family are normal every day people. Its great to see that you can bring back some humanity to politics that has been absent for some time. Keep up the great work! Another thing its great to see a lady in the spot light that is actually content with herself! In reference to the "Inner Beauty" Blog.

Gail from Hesperia, California writes:
Dear Meghan: First, I'd like to congratulate your parents for raising such a fine young woman! You are exactly what the young people of today need as a role model - someone more than fine with who she is- (a young woman with genuine class), what she does, and where she's been. That is commendable, and not all young people turn out as well. You're awesome!

Garrett from Oxford, Mississippi writes:
Meghan, This longtime member of the McCain-Train just received his copy of the April issue of GQ... the article was quite endearing and I even caught myself laughing out loud once or twice. It's obvious that your dad's frank nature has rubbed off on you... Either way, good luck with the rest of the campaign and keep up the great work!

Jennifer from Grand Blanc, Michigan writes:
I don't read very many blogs, but I must say I loved yours. Thanks for a very refreshing inside look at the political process. Good Luck to your dad and blessings to you and your family!

Julie from West Palm Beach, Florida writes:
Hey... I just found out about this site when I was on AOL earlier and I gotta say, I love. I'm completely addicted to reading your entries. =) Thanks for updating us on the campaign trail.

Annie from Pennfield, Michigan writes:
I LOVE your blog! One of the highlights of my day is to come read your blog

Heidi from High Point, North Carolina writes:
What a lovely discovery! I only wish I would have found this sooner. I have genuinely enjoyed scrolling back through the blog. I have a new appreciation for your father; he reminds me a lot of mine. This blog is such a refreshing take on the campaign. Need I even mention how much I LOVE the playlists and your taste in shoes?

Maggie from Raleigh, North Carolina writes:
Hey Girl, I just started reading your blog today and i absolutely love it. My twin sister and I are huge supporters of McCain and debate anyone who disagrees any chance we get.. which is alot in college. But I think what you are doing is great and I hope the best for you and your family! You're a great role-model for girls and a great asset to your fathers team!

Jason from Columbia, Maryland writes:
Your site is brilliant!! I love the unofficial coverage and the tone of your format. Good luck on the trail and with your career after your Dad moves into the big house down the street on Penn Ave!!

Brian from Peoria, Illinois writes:
Meghan, I love your blog. I did not like your father at first, but as time has gone on, I see the benefits of his campaign. A lot of the pictures I saw of him before your blog looked cold. You have done a great job of showing the softer side of your father and your family. This blog will be priceless for people like me who were speculative to get excited about the idea of having such a great family in the White House. Also, I wanted to let you know that you are a very beautiful woman and you make a great spokesperson for women who do not conform to the size 0 expectations of society. Anyone with a brain can see you will be the most beautiful first daughter ever to grace the white house :)

Dave from Hudson, New Hampshire writes:
Bless you, child! You put up a BEAUTIFUL web/blog site! I'm very impressed! I hope and pray that your dad is our next Commander-in-Chief! God Bless!

Kajsa from Camden, Ohio writes:
I just found your blog and am loving it! It's nice to see everything with out the negativity we see in the media. Keep up the great work!!! God Bless!

Julie from Ocala, Florida writes:
Hi Meghan, My entire family and I support your Dad and PRAY that he wins!!! . I love how you are supporting him, it really does show what a good father he's been to have a daughter who loves him and supports him so much. KEEP GOING MCCAINS! WE ARE ALL BEHIND YOU!

Slaven from Switzerland writes:
Congratulation, this is a great site... Greetings from Switzerland

Brei from Lafayette, Louisiana writes:
I read a news article about your blog and I thought I should check it out. I LOVE IT! I feel like I am reading something one of my friends would write. Thank you for the insight about your family. I think y'all would make a great first family. Keep up the good work. I am addicted now. P.S. That sucks your heels keep breaking off. I HATE when that happens!

Rich from Cincinnati, Ohio writes:
Just found your blog and it puts a very human face to the campaign and those holding on for the ride. I'm glad you are involved and participating -- great job. I'm looking forward to your updates. (video clips are great BTW)

Erin from Fort Bragg, North Carolina writes:
Great job ladies! As a former congressional aide it is so nice to see our politicians as real people instead of this larger than life type of role the media portrays. And from a military spouse standpoint whose husband is currently serving his 2nd tour in Iraq I believe in your father and his ability to lead our military and the country to greatness at home and abroad. Best wishes!

Amelia from Indianapolis, Indiana writes:
I feel compelled to say how much I enjoy this blog! You're quite an inspiration and I hope to share this blog with my young nieces, to help them see that politics isn't just all nastiness and name calling. I also want to say how much I enjoyed your entry on body-image, and how beautifully it was written. Keep up the good work! I'm voting for your father in November!!!

John from Hingham, Massachusetts writes:
I'm so glad you've developed this site and content. This type of electronic access and communication is so important in today's elections. It is because of your father that I left the Democratic Party. I'm registered as an Independent now, and my views have moderated over my 61 years - I guess I'm a moderate conservative now, where I was very liberal years ago. Maybe age does bring wisdom, and the realization that we as Americans have something to lose if we don't make the correct choices in our leaders. So, I'm at my desk having my morning coffee (wearing my McCain campaign button, I might add), and hoping for a brighter tomorrow when your Dad is elected President of the United States.

Joe from Taneytown, Maryland writes:
... this blog is just what the campaign needs. When you show someone's human side, it matters all that much more. Positivity is what attracts people; Senator McCain has no shortage of that, either. God Bless.

Tom from Excelsior Springs, Missouri writes:
Keep up the good work Meghan. I enjoy reading the more personal side of your dad, although I have read about him extensively. Having gone through the Viet Nam war also, I read (as my wife says) obsessively about the Viet Nam war and keep abreast of what is happening in Iraq, Afghanistan, Sudan and other areas. I feel your dad would be a great leader. There are a couple of things I don't agree with him on, but we can work that out. Thanks again for your insight. God Bless America!

Kara from Dallas, North Carolina. writes:
The "inner beauty" blog was the most down to earth thing I have read in a long time. It's so great that there is actual people out there that thing its okay to be the size they were meant to be without having to fix it with a large sum of money. I will tell you that I appreciate that you are making yourself a roll model for younger girls. Stick to it. Because it's working. Girls shouldn't have to be pressured into being that "0" or making them think that, that's the way you should live life. Keep up the good work.

Jane from Elgin, Illinois writes:
Meghan, Please continue to keep up the good work! You are an outstanding role model for young ladies everywhere. You should consider publishing a journal after this campaign! You are a talented young lady with class!

Vera from Monroe, Connecticut writes:
I'm a tad older than your dad and I seldom nap in the afternoon, either! I was immediately taken by the art work of "you" in red shoes. Are there any of us out there who don't love shoes? It made me smile, but it's also beautifully rendered. I intend to explore your blog from time to time, and we'll be voting for your dad.

Randy from Naples, Italy writes:
Great blog! I've followed your Dad since the early 90s, and even did some small time campaigning in 2000 in Texas. I think your blog is awesome. The playlists and the pop culture are great. Keep up the great work!

Maria from Hong Kong writes:
I have been following the campaign closely via the news and the internet. I love what you did for your dad: it's totally refreshing. Good luck!

Jillian from Ft hood, Texas writes:
I am a huge fan of this site!! I saw this pop up as a main news story and started reading into it and i love it!! I actually did alot of research on your father from his military days to the future since my family is so close with the military that is one of my biggest concerns right now with voting for a new president and i want them taken care of!! My father deploys in july and we love your father and what he stands for...we need a hero in office who is a stand up person not like some of the other candidates who are more worried about destroying the others credibility then the real issues!! Again I will be checking this site every day now because i love seeing yall as real people!! I have faith your father will win this election!!

Rudy from Santa Cruz, California writes:
My wife and I are registered Democrat. Like your father, the Senator, I am also a Vietnam veteran and served to full retirement years in uniform. We think your parents are lucky to have a daughter like you. Definitely you are an asset to his campaign. Did I say we "are registered Democrat? True !! but, in this year's election, we are for John McCain all the way !!!!

Ron from Reno, Nevada writes:
I only just found your site today; thanks to AP. You do a wonderful and I'm a total conservative and supporter of your Father. I was also pleased to see the song of the day was by my all time favorite singer/songwriter. That really made my day --- keep up the good work. Good luck

Paula from Sacramento, California writes:
Hi Girls! I just found your blog this morning and spent over an hour on it!! What a great job all of you are doing. I found it on AOL and even took the survey that I NEVER check political blogs but you taught this 55 yr old Grandma a thing or two!! Just wanted to congratulate all of you.

Stephanie from Connecticut writes:
I love your blog! This is so great, I'm disappointed I haven't come across this sooner. Your dad is the man, he has my vote!! Best of luck to you guys!

Joshua from West River, Maryland writes:
I saw your blog advertised on the AP and wanted to say how great it is what your doing here. Too many political canidate's families have been trivialized and thought of as sub-par, but your blog shows that sub-par is out the window! thanks again for the musings. You have a new fan! Sincerely, Josh

Kara from Westbrook, Texas writes:
LOVE the blog! I really admire your maturity, growing up in the spotlight of such an accomplished man I'm sure has a fair share of pressure. You have portrayed your family in a fabulous light. Your Dad comes off brilliant, but polished and professional when he speaks, you show the side of him that says 'hes not just a genius, he's a human..."

Jeff from Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey writes:
I love your Blogette,i t brings your dad and mom and yourself down to earth. I like to see people having fun even when the pressure is on and the whole world is watching. Thanks for sharing a little of yourself, so we as voters can see your views and your family values. It will make it so much easier to cast my vote for your dad now. Good luck and keep up the nice work.

Jerry from Bakersfield, California writes:
Meghan, I'll be brief this time. I love what you're doing here and I thank you for the fresh perspective on John McCain. Getting to know you makes me even more proud that I voted for your Dad! You seem like an incredibly intriguing young woman, and I know your Dad had something to do with that. Interestingly, my wife and daughter both have MFA degrees ... and my daughter is a Scorpio. Sadly, she's so far left we can't talk politics, but I love her anyway. Keep up the fine work! Jerry

Laurel from Richardson, Texas writes:
I am a proud army wife and mommy to 3 beautiful children. My husband is currently serving in Iraq. I just wanted to say I was at the Fairmont Hotel to celebrate your father's victory. I brought along my children as well and it meant so much to me to be a part of history in the making. Even though we did not make it home until way after my kiddos bedtime!

Fred from Adamsville, Tennessee writes:
Enjoyed your site. I am an independent and voting for Sen.McCain. Also a Navy Retired Airdale.

Dan from Rochester, Minnesota writes:
Meghan, Excellent site - you doing great work, and it's refreshing that in the middle of all the mud that politics seems to want to be, there is a positive view and voice! I'm supporting your dad for many reasons. In the times I've voted for a president, I've voted for an independent, a Democrat, and as I've gotten older, I've been seeking the candidate that shares my values the most. That would be your dad this year.

Virginia from Hammond, Indiana writes:
Meghan, after reading the AP article released today, I read your blog for the first time. Please keep it up--it's great to hear your perspective on your father. I know exactly what you mean about being so proud of your dad. I'm that way about my father and have been since I was born, I think! I'm now 55 and my father is 75, still going strong as a minister ten years after retirement age. He's a good man, a hard-working man, and I'm so proud to be his daughter. Your father definitely has my vote in November.

Alberta from Mannford, Oklahoma writes:
So refreshing to see a candidate's daughter who is down to earth, and doesn't have to be snotty to defend her parent's actions!! You may have heard it said, "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree"? Helps to have a beautiful, courteous lady for a mother. Really enjoyed your site.

Richard from Santa Cruz, California writes:
I came across your blog a few days ago, and I think its great. I have so much respect for your Father. Being a former Marine Corps Sergeant (1999-2007) and stationed in Arizona I would read and hear about your father all the time, always hoping that he would run for president. I have so much respect for your father. I think yor blog is very real and it shows your true personality. I never knew he had such a beautiful and talented daughter. Keep up the good work and thank you for letting us into your life.

Lloyd from Florence, Montana writes:
I loved that music video you posted. As a result of the AP Story, I checked out the blog. It puts a human and friendly face in a place I felt was devoid of honest compassion and intergrity. I am actually looking forward to reading more about a candidate for a change.

Fred from Parkland, Florida writes:
Meghan, Your Dad has always been a hero to me, someone whom I admire and respect. I served four years in the military during Vietnam and have always looked up to him as a "big brother in-arms"(He's got a dozen years on me). We have two sons and a daughter around your age so I know how proud (of you) both your parents must be. Congrats on the great site. I just found it today. Keep up the good work!

Matt from Chicago, Illinois writes:
I hadn't heard about either you (Meghan) or your blog until I was eating breakfast this morning and perusing my roommate's GQ magazine. When I got to work today I clicked on your blog, and I have to admit I'm hooked. I, too, am a 23 year-old Scorpio who enjoys Bud Light and pretty much every song on your playlists... We have much in common, in fact, minus the whole presidential-candidate-dad thing. That, and I'm a dude. I graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Drama, though my interest in politics led me to take a few classes on the subject. Your blog provides a unique and candid perspective behind the scenes of your father's campaign, and though admittedly I've been more interested in the Democratic side of things during this race, I've learned more about your father's campaign through your blog than I have on any of the news sites, if for no other reason than that you provide an honest and exciting perspective of this process. So in short, thank you for doing this and allowing readers into the hearts and minds of your family and friends on the campaign trail. Best of luck, looking forward to seeing the McCains in Chicago.

Nelson from Richardson, Texas writes:
Your doing a great job keeping everyone informed on the behind the scenes campaign. Keep it up. Vote McCain 2008

Teresa from Spartanburg, South Carolina writes:
I really enjoyed reading Meghan's report on her Dad's visit to California. I lost my Dad in 1998, so reading it made me think of him. I have been a supporter of Sen. McCain since 1999 when I saw him on a news show. I was married to a Vietnam vet so I really learned to respect those that fight for our freedom. I am sure Sen. McCain is very proud of his Meghan and all of his children. I took a picture of him with my grandchildren when he was in South Carolina and just hearing him speak to them made me think he must be a good Dad. Thanks for sharing.

Elizabeth from Tucson, Arizona writes:
I love the site, the layout, the photos and the blog. Helps relate. Super creative!

Colin from Belt, Montana writes:
I really enjoy the candid video journal; it allows us to see another side of the candidate. Please keep up the awesome work I am sure it is very tiresome being on the road during the campaign. I am looking forward to seeing your Dad in the white house.

Andrew from Fort Hood, Texas writes:
Meghan, I read your expose in GQ and it was great! As I read, being that we are only a few years apart in age, I could easily relate to you. It gave me a refreshing perspective of your family and what that may mean to your father's possible presidency. Thank you for opening me up to the McCain Family. My suggested song for the road: "Valerie" by Amy Winehouse *sunset with windows down, enjoy. Andrew

Ivy from Centreville, Virginia writes:
Dear Miss McCain, Brava, brava, brava! You CANNOT know what a profound and positive effect you are having on your father's presidential campaign. Given this forum, you certainly eclipse Miss Clinton by unfathomable miles (and countless potential votes). My husband was a helicopter pilot who didn't make it home from Vietnam. And as a two-time breast cancer survivor with lymphedema, this military brat and former Navy officer's wife (son graduated from the Academy, too!), I am in awe of your father--from the time of his prisoner of war years to presently--as he deals with this little-understood side effect of cancer treatment, sometimes referred to as the "one-two punch of cancer." I look forward to following your blog, and wish you and your family the victory you so richly deserve. Keep up your fine work, continue just as you are doing, and know how deeply moved I am by you and your family. God bless you and keep you safe and healthy!!!! Ivy

Vivian from Louisville, Kentucky writes:
LOVE IT! Love the blog, love you guys, love the YouTube videos, love it all! Thank goodness, someone on the campaign trail doesn't take all this so dadgum seriously!!! Sending the link to all my friends! Keep it up! Good job -- and I give your dad credit for giving you the freedom to do it, too. Props!

Kathy from Ocala, Florida writes:
I am not sure of my candidate yet, because I have always been a democrat, but need to vote for the best person. Your blog is amazing and you have talent. it is fun just to journey thru a candidate's life . Loooooooong time ago, I was a volunteer for John Kennedy and I worked for Bobby Kennedy and a local congressmen. The excitment of campaigning is so contagious. Just enjoy the ride and I can see you do. You are very grounded and talented. Go GIrl

"Viewer Mail Volume 7"
POSTED BY MEGHAN
ON 05.01.08 8:15 PM

Thanks to everyone who took the time to write such kind comments. We continue to be encouraged by your support and hope you'll keep reading the blog.

Paul from Moreno Valley, California writes:
Meghan, your blog is awesome! I just discovered it about a month ago in an article on Foxnews.com. Your photos and articles about our next President and your family is nowhere to be seen in the mainstream media. I feel honored to have your father as our next President...

Elizabeth from Houston, Texas writes:
I had no idea this blog existed until my city's newspaper ran an article about you and this blog. So I thought I would check it out. I love this. It's so 21st century daughter-of-a-candidate. And to subtitle it "musings and pop culture on the political trail" is such an ingenious way to attract 20-somethings like myself and my friends. Right after I read this blog for the first time I sent the link to my closest friends. We all love it. Keep writing and tell Shannon and Heather their pics and videos are fabulous!

Katy from Reno, Nevada writes:
I am totally addicted to this blog, it definitely shows that there is a lot more to campaigning than shaking hands and holding babies, and it doesn't hurt that I am completely jealous of your wardrobe. Also, it's really inspiring that you're mom can use a camera phone! I love it, you've got my vote for sure.

Hillary from Baltimore, Maryland writes:
Hi Meghan! I'm a college student from Maryland and I wanted to let you know how much I enjoy reading your blog! I've been a supporter of your father since he announced he would run for office, and I absolutley love tracking his success in the race! Thank you for providing me with an inside look into your life on the campaign trail! Best of luck!

Loura from Lakeland, Florida writes:
First, the dedication to this publication is amazing! If anyone has an excuse to procrastinate with a daily commitment, it would be you, considering your overwhelming schedule. Second, the inside view of the McCain campaign has made this political endeavor very personable. I am delighted to see the genuine side of a politician! Anyone can do anything for a short period of time, including fake the appearance of being ethical and positive, these inside pictures speak volumes of Mr. McCain's character! Thank you for changing my attitude toward 2008! I'm pleased to feel certain that a good man, with no doubt, take his place in America's White House!

Gail from Harrisonburg, Virginia writes:
I love your blog! Even though I am an over 50 baby boomer, this is a great way to learn and know John McCain from a different point of view other than the Sunday morning talk shows! It is way more entertaining! I've sent the link to many of my friends - keep it up!

Rebecca from Maumelle, Arkansas writes:
It is extremely moving to see you and your dad together through these pictures. My father and I were very close. He died five years ago. While nothing on the scale of a Presidential campaign, he was a bit of a local figure here in Little Rock. The pictures of you guys hanging out together remind me of times with my dad. You are so lucky to have this experience with him. Enjoy every moment you have!

Diane from New York, New York writes:
Wow. Thanks for giving us an insider's view of your Dad and the campaign trail. You guys are doing a great job! Love the pictures and your comments. Your father inspires me. He's seen such horrors yet he has remained hopeful and positive. Your blog sweetly displays what a good man he is. We will all be so lucky to have such a man as our Commander in Chief. Best of luck and congratulations to you and your friends on the website. It's fantastic. Don't stop!

Melissa from Orlando, Florida writes:
I am so glad I found the Blogette!! It is so incredible. I was a McCain voter prior to knowing about this site but now I'm a McCain lover!! Your family is so awesome!! Thank you so much for letting us see the "inside". It makes such a difference. I can now tell people about my Presidential choice with a true passion I didn't have before. Thank you Megan!! Keep up the great work girls! It's making a difference!!

Judith from Newport, Rhode Island writes:
Dear Lovely Young Lady, OMG, you're great, human, natural, funny and fast. Keep it up! Hugs to you from this Newport Momma...

Laurie from New Milford, Connecticut writes:
My best friend just shared your blogette with me... I immediately sent it along to my sons! You're are so refreshing, honestly and passionately in love with your family and intelligent! I am the very proud mom to sons that are a US Marine and a Cadet at USMA West Point. Service above self is an absolute as for love of God and Family in our family... I hope and continue to pray for your Dad's good health and success as our President! I will continue to follow your enthusiastic campaign trail! My son will graduate West Point in 2010... how great will that be to have President John McCain be our Guest Speaker?!? Feel free to forward my personal request to your dad! I was fortunate enough to attend a fundraiser in NYC for dad last election... and it's a photo that has a whole new life to it now! Thank you!

Tim from San Diego, California writes:
Good Morning! I just read the current article on your Dad's campaign today on Yahoo and found the link to your blog. I figured I'd check it out. Being a retired Navy Chief myself I am of course a "McCain Supporter". Your blog is a refreshing relief from the typical media covereage. It gives a human side to you, your wonderful family, and to your father's campaign. Mr. McCain is a blessed man to have such a wonderful and supportive family. By the way, Shannon is really hot too! Sorry, I had to say that. McCain for President!!!

Patrick from Covington, Louisiana writes:
Megan, I read your interview in GQ the other day and loved it, which brought me to your site. Love the blogs and what the blogettes are doing. You three young lady's rock and we could not ask for a better example for the young girls in our country than the example the blogettes are providing. Rock on.

Natalie from Seoul, Korea writes:
I am the teenage daughter of two active duty military officers. Both of my parents are supporters of your father, but I've found an additional role model in you. You seem like the kind of person who is not swayed by the biases of others, which is exactly what I strive to do. It's only a matter of time before more young women look up to you, not only for your beauty and confidence, but for the wise use of your fame in making changes that the world needs.

Ken from Frederick, Maryland writes:
Megan: Awesome blog you have. I think it's great that you are with your Dad on the trail. Your Dad is a great American hero and will be a super President for the people. A lot of us soldiers know that he will not leave us out there flapping in the breeze. I just retired from the Army after 26 years of service. I can work on a political campaign and I have already signed up. Please tell your Dad that we have his "six". Keep up the great work!

Sonya from San Diego, California writes:
Dear Meghan, I am a 30 year old woman with a demanding career but I always take time to read up on politics and the news everyday. I have to admit I'm a bit of a political "junkie" so when I came across your blog, it put a smile on my face! Your blog is breath of fresh air from all the political over-analyzing that goes on every day. It gives such a unique perspective. I have been a long-time supporter of your father's and have convinced almost all of my family to vote for him come November. I also liked reading about how your father has shaped who you are today. I feel the same way about my father. He was a fighter pilot as well... for the Marines though (you know how that is)... and he is one of the best people I have ever known. He enstilled in me some very fundamental core values that I will always cherish. He is also a HUGE supporter of your fathers. Keep up the good work! I look forward to reading more.

Sheila from Brooklyn, New York writes:
Hi Meghan. Your blog entry about "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" made me smile because I (like your mother) am an AZ mom of 3 children who are your age - and every night I would have to sing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" to my son Louie before he went to sleep - not once - at least 3 times a night in the Tucson desert. And NO, I do not have a good voice. We live in NY now but I never stopped following education in AZ or your father, politically. I attended both NYC events and I had the opportunity to talk to our next President (I had met your father at previous political events in AZ and NY). However I look forward to meeting you and your mother at the next event and share that "Rainbow" and dreams for children. You will recognize me. I will be the woman who can't sing that special mother-child song. I'll bring ear-plugs for everyone else in the room.

Phil from Laurel, Montana writes:
Love your blog. Keep up the good work young lady. Your dad is a lucky man and he has my vote to take care of this great country that I served in the military to protect. Love and prayers to u all!

Micki from Abilene, Texas writes:
I just wanted to say that as a member of the United States Air Force and an Iraq war Veteran having served for 6 months in 2007 - I AM A PROUD SUPPORTER OF YOUR DAD!! I am praying every day for our country and the Iraqi people I came to love during my tour that your Dad becomes our Commander In Chief - I would be proud to serve under his leadership. I truly feel that your Dad is what our country needs at this moment. Thank you Meghan for doing this blog and showing sides of your Dad that people don't often get to see. May God Bless you, your family, our country, and the Iraqi people.

Sarah from Baltimore, Maryland writes:
Hey, Blogettes! I'm a thirteen year old girl, who's never really been all that interested in politics or anything since I cannot vote yet. But reading this blog has given me a different look at politics, that even though it is serious business, there's a lot of fun behind the scenes. Thanks for more or less "opening my eyes"!

Mario from Quebec Canada writes:
Great site, great pictures and just a few words to let you know that your blog is even talked about on Cyberpresse, a Canadian newspaper. Even if it is mainly French speaking here in Quebec, the Americain presidential campaign is followed closely by many people. Best wishes and chin high, no matter what!

Amy from Chicago, Illinois writes:
Hi Meghan, I read about your blog from the AP yesterday and once I read the most recent post, I spent the past 2 hours reading through months of past posts. I love what you are doing, and as a proud college student supporting your Dad, it's really fun to see a side of the campaign trail that isn't usually seen! Keep it up! I've become addicted!

I'm so excited that I came across your blogette. I loved all of your entries and the pictures. You seem so down to Earth. I am 33 years old and my husband and I have 5 children. When I think about their future and how much I love them, I know that John McCain will do everything in his power to protect this great country! He's got my vote!

Joseph from Tennessee writes:
You are just the best. I was reading about you being your Daddy's girl and brought back lots of memories for me of my father. I, like you, always felt safe when he was near. Keep up the good work. I love your blog. Would not miss it. Your Dad would make the BEST President.

Brett from Abilene, Texas writes:
I was just made aware of this website a little over a week ago, and I have loved going through your postings. I met your dad twice during my Plebe year at the Naval Academy, and he was as friendly and personable as anyone could be. I love supporting him in this election, and I wish him all the best. Thanks for showing us a different side of the campaign trail. I'm looking forward to hearing so much more!

Moktar from Paris, France writes:
i just discovered the blogette and wanted to say that, contrary to what people pretend in France, there are many people here supporting John McCain. I was glad to see that you had such an interesting and funny initiative with this page; I just wanted to congratulate and say good luck. Keep on writing and have the best campaign ever!

Michele from Bozeman, Montana writes:
I am really enjoying your blog! I love your candid humor and real life take on what is happening around you at this interesting time for your family! It is interesting to see it all from your perspective!!

Samantha from Goddard, Kansas writes:
I just started reading your blog and I love it. I just wanted to thank you for being a supporter of Operation Smile. My daughter was born with a cleft lip and palate and we support them. I love your dad and what he can do for our nation. God Bless and take care.

Dave from Herndon, Virginia writes:
Meghan, God Bless You and your Dad and Mom. Your blog is very entertaining. I am going to vote for your Dad and so is my Mom who NEVER votes for Republicans. I read your Inner Beauty column and am mystified why anyone would critize your looks. Holy Cow? You are beautiful. Anyways good look to you and your Dad, a man who I greatly admire.

Bradley from Houston, Texas writes:
Today is the day that I found my link to the Republican side of this election. Your blog is a refreshing and intelligent narrative that I really enjoy reading and watching. I was also very impressed by the awesome advise you had for woman about weight and self image. Personally, I think you are gorgeous. A curvy shape is a woman's shape, and did I mention... you are gorgeous!

Vicky from Gorham, New Hampshire writes:
Just want to thank you again for your terrific blog! I loved reading what you wrote about your Dad's speech in San Francisco... Your father is going to be our next president, and he is going to change the world for the better! Can't wait to see your pics of the White House in 2009!

Kathy from Plano, Texas writes:
Just stumbled upon your blog and I love it! You are such a beautiful, amazing young woman and I'm sure your Mom and Dad are so very proud of you! It takes a special person to put themselves and their lives out there for the public to see like you have and it's so refreshing to hear your point of view of life on the campaign trail. Keep up the good work. The world needs more like you and "The Blogettes" in it!

Lulu from Putney, Vermont writes:
I'm only 8 going on 9 but I'm already a big fan of our new president (your dad.) I read your website and you sound like a great person. I hope we meet someday.

Jim from Santa Fe Springs, California writes:
I am so respectful of your dad's military and public service. Pretty good family guy too. A guy with real fortitude can go a long way in the military, captivity, and politics! I really like the candid shots along the campaign trail, and the blog postings. I am sure I will be sending future mail to 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. after November. Best wishes.

Bruce from Seattle, Washington writes:
Hi Megs, I keep reading your blog and then thinking, wow, this woman could be President herself someday. Your honesty, committment to your personal values, and communication of integrity are traits that would be most welcome in a world leader. Plus you have put together a very entertaining read. I'm supporting the "other side" in this election, but my sense is that you will continue to grow in depth of character, compassion, and sharp wits. Please consider staying in the fray as well. I hope to see you at the top of the ticket, on any side, in the future.

Kurt from Orlando, Florida writes:
Nice job here Meg. Your father is a good man. I have 2 daughters 16 and 18. My 18 year old is registered to vote already. It is very important that young people like yourself get involved and show that we can have an open discussion about issues without turning it into a circus.

Adam from Charlottesville, Virginia writes:
Nice playlists. I like a lot of the songs you have on there, so I think I'll try out some of the things I haven't heard yet. Thanks for the ideas.

Rob from Los Angeles, California writes:
Hi Meghan, I read about your blog in the AP yesterday and just had a moment to check it out. I think it is fantastic that you and your team are sharing your experiences while campaigning for your father. My father is a graduate from USNA as well, and I certainly know the character instilled to the Midshipmen. We have great respect and admiration for your father and your family. Keep up the great work!

Bob from Corpus Christi, Texas writes:
Meghan, Thank you so much for showing a side of politics we rarely, if ever, get to see. You are a like a breath of "fresh air" that we all need so much.

Tom from Anderson, South Carolina writes:
Great work on the blog. It really gives a unique perspective on what goes on out there on the campaign trail. I also really enjoy your taste in music and think you do a great job of representing your father and showing the world what cool people you and your family are.

Lindsey from San Francisco, California writes:
You rock! There's no other way to put it. I cannot tell you how refreshing it is to see such an intelligent, hip and sassy young Republican out on the trail. Simiply put, the nation will be a better place if your father wins.
