I'm finally getting caught up on e-mails after returning from our trip and have been overwhelmed by your supportive messages. I can't say enough about how much your kind words mean to all of us.  Here's a small sampling of the comments we received in June. Thanks again!

I have been reading if for several months and the whole time have been hoping and praying McCain will win. Being a Veteran myself and knowing what it takes to be in your fathers shoes, I am completely impressed with how you and your family deal with day to day living while on the trail. I hope even after he wins you will continue with this and give us your thoughts and concerns with how life is treating all of you. Also, I have and always will stand in awe of Senator, soon to be President McCain and all he has been through and what kind of a man he has turned out to be as well as How his daughter has turned out. I am a huge supporter of your dad and appreciate everytime he mentions land conservation and preserving open space. I appreciate the support that you show for the Operation Smile. My daughter was born with cleft palate. Though it did not show on her face there were still many complications that resulted from this. It was repaired when she was nine months old. But as a mother I know the feelings that it gave me and the relief to have it repaired. There is no question that Senator McCain has always put the country we love ahead of partisanship or politics. We've had more submissions from visitors in the last three weeks than we've had since launching this site in October. In fact, we had to split this update into two volumes. (Volume 7 will come next week.) As you will see when you read the comments below, we are so lucky to have such supportive fans. We'll have some new things to post next week as we get ready to head back to DC for the Correspondents Dinner on April 26th.

As we head out on the trail tomorrow, I thought it might be the perfect time to do another installment of viewer mail. I am so excited for this upcoming week's schedule: it includes stops in Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon, and Heather's hometown of Carmel! As you will read below, I was really touched by all of the comments the site has received since the "Inner Beauty" post on March 10th. And we received our first comments from Japan and Argentina.
