SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 2008 AT 3:10 PM
We started the day at a People Magazine photo shoot that took place in a ballroom at the hotel. It was like a movie set where the "prop masters" even had framed family photos on the tables in the mock living room setting. It was also one of the first times in a while where we had the entire family in one room at the same time, due to so many different competing schedules and commitments. It was a mini-family reunion but with the bright lights and shutters of the cameras clicking nonstop. Before we knew it, the shoot was over and it was time to head over to the Xcel Energy Center and watch Governor Palin deliver her amazing speech. John Rich closed the night's session with a rocking performance of his song, "Raisin' McCain." I'm living the dream, baby!
