Song of the Day: "All I Want to Do" by Sugarland
Kathryn from Gainesville, Florida writes:
I am a young, single, female undecided voter who was searching for the right person to capture my vote. I saw your interview on the Today Show and then have done some extensive reading of the McCain Blogette site. I want to say that thanks to you I am not an undecided voter anymore. I too come from a family with strong moral backgrounds. I would love to watch my father go through the same process that your father is. You are a smart, beautiful and playful young lady who really connected with me and I trust that your father will take care of me just as my father would take care of you. Good luck with the race, push for the issues that we believe in, you truly have a very unique place in American politics and I believe you will do everything in your power to stand up for our rights and freedoms. Have fun on the campaign trail and best of luck to you and your family.
Alice from Point Pleasant, New Jersey writes:
I love your blog. I am also exited that John McCain, your father, has chosen such a fantastic running mate. Also, your father and mother must be so proud of you. I will be checking in with you often. I am a 77 year old women who lives here at the wonderful Jersey Shore. Thanks for giving me a chance to speak to you.
Celeste from Texas writes:
I have to say I have been a Dem since I was able to vote and gave my first vote to Bill Clinton....and I had hope to give my vote to Hillary, but the Obama's hijacked the Dems this year and I have watched your father closely and I really like what I see. I see a man that loves this country and was willing to die for his men and us as a nation, I can't ask for more than that as my Grandfather did the same in WWII... I trust your dad and know many others that do too...keep up the good fight and get as many as you can to vote McCain / Palin...I know the Repub's got my vote this year....
Jenn from Kingston, New York writes:
I just came across your blog and am so happy that I did. I was always planning on voting for your Dad, but after his pick of Gov. Palin, I just am so excited. She is an inspiration for all women & moms and am so sorry that she and her family have been treated so unfairly by many. I grew up in family where my dad & uncles' have served in our military and now my cousin is just back from a tour in Iraq, so I am looking forward to sharing your book with my children. Thank you so much to you & your family's patriotism and continued service to help our country. I also think your mom will be one of the most beautiful & elegant first ladies ever!
Maggie from Gilford, New Hampshire writes:
Hey Meghan, I just wanted to let you know that you are such an inspiration to young Republican women. As a college student, it is really difficult letting people know how you stand on issues when they immediately disregard how you feel. Keep doing what your doing, and standing up for what you believe in because it is truly helpful for me to see that I can do the same thing and not feel bad about it. Thank you!
Rudy from Athens, Georgia writes:
I love your blog and I love what you do. I am a strong supporter of your father, I do believe that he can and will bring change. I admire him and have trust in him. America needs him. We need him. I also want to thank you for the 9/11 posts you've published. I was touched. You seem to have lots on fun on the campaign trail, may it continue to be so until Election Day!! Rudy

Dear Megan, I just wanted to let you know that I have been enjoying your "Blogette", thank you for providing it for us to enjoy. My 17 year old daughter met you at you book signing at Mendam Boks in Mendam, NJ on Wednesday. I wanted to thank you for signing and speaking to her. You truly had a profound effect on her. Your father has my vote and if my daughter was of age to vote, she would also vote for him.

Debbie from Ashland, Kentucky writes:
I purchased your book for my son-in-law to read to his son (my 4-year old grandson in Florida). I was impressed by your interview on FOX and Friends this week. My own 4th Gr Grandfather was a Brig. Gen. in the Revolution and now I am a member of the D.A.R. My son is preparing for his 3rd deployment - this time to Afghanistan. Bless our troops and our military families across America. God bless you and your family and thank you for writing a children's book about your father. My own father, a 10-year Navy Veteran (1942-'52) passed away the week of the convention so I was unable to take in many of the activities. I'll enjoy checking out your blogs to catch up on how things went. We need more patriotic books to read to our children - I hope your book inspires others to write more patriotic books on children's level. It's helps to instill patriotism at a young age.
Noel from Los Angeles, California writes:
Dear Meghan, Hey, I justed wanted to say how much I appreciate your blogs. I'm 22 y/o and live in LA and with the dominating liberal media, I sometimes feel like I am the only republican in this country. Your blogs let me know that I'm totally wrong. I have so much respect for your father and what he has done for this country. I can't wait to vote for him. Tell your mom she seems really cool. Thanks again for everything. Noel
Sarah from Louisville, Kentucky writes:
Meghan, I just wanted to take a minute to thank you for everything you are doing to motivate young Republicans across the nation. When I watch you speak about your father, it truly inspires me -- it is so obvious not only how much you admire him, but how much confidence you have in his vision for our country. I honestly believe with all my heart that your father will always put our country and her people first. With our current society being so overwhelmingly motivated by self interest this is a truly refreshing quality to see in such a great leader. Being the daughter of a politician, I understand how difficult it can be (although not nearly on the same scale you deal with) to smile through some of the horrible things people come up with. Thank you for being so brave and for standing up for all the principles that are so important to our great county. Your family is a true inspiration! Thank you!!
Karleen from Reedsville, Pennsylvania writes:
As I am an "older" American, yours is the first "blog" I have ever visited. I am very impressed and will visit often. I have always admired your father and I'm most happy that he's running for President. I was not too sure of Sarah, but after hearing a few of her speeches and interviews, the McCain/Palin ticket is perfect. They certainly have my vote. Also, your childrens book will be in each of my grandchildren's households. You are a special daughter and I'm sure your father is very proud. Sincerely, Karleen
Cynthia writes:
I love your blog, Meghan! It gives the campaign a very personal touch. My family's enthusiasm for Senator McCain's candidacy is growing every day! Sincerely, Cynthia Indian Trail, NC
Norma from Lake St Louis, Missouri writes:
Just ordered your book Meghan for my grandkids. I think what you are doing to make the USA a better place is terrific. You're a beautiful girl and your folks must be very proud of you. I'm proud of you for coming over to our side and giving your dad that great Father's Day Gift. Keep up the good work. I love your website with the pics. Your father will be the next president of the USA. All of us are banking on that!!! Norma
Robin from McKinney, Texas writes:
After I saw your father's interview with Rick Warren....I was so moved and so very sorry that I didn't recognize how great a man your father was and is sooner. I was so moved and continue to be moved by the contributions of your father and your whole family. My opinions of your father, unfortunately, were formed by a very biased media.... I never was interested in politics until now. The grace and poise that your father, Governor Palin and both families show under media attacks is truly impressive. I also want to thank you for let ting the rest of us get to know your father who is truly a hero.
Tristan from Ch teau-Thierry, FRANCE writes:
Thank you for you to discover the campaign of John McCain through this blog through a different perspective that allows us to see the scenes of this election. A family side, we see that it is above all a great human adventure! There are frenchs for McCain! Good Luck ! Go Go GOP !
Robin from Miami, Florida writes:
Wonderful! Thank you.
Kristin from Riverdale, New York writes:
I have only just started reading your blog, but my sister has been reading for quite some time now. I'm 23, and politics in my family has always been held to the upmost importance; however, many in our generation, I feel, don't really understand how important and just consider it "a boring topic". Living and growing up near NYC, many have no idea who our state senators are, or even who the Speaker of the House is, but they will vote for Obama because "Diddy is." I think that your writing is fantastic, and that if more people read your blog, they will learn the value of our liberties, and it will urge them learn more about the issues and policies we face today. Whether they are voting McCain or Obama, come November, I think they may actually vote for who they want and trust; and not for who "everyone else is".
Chris from Ft Wayne, Indiana writes:
I enjoy your blog. It makes you all the more human and real, not just some elitist family... I'm a McCain/Palin voter and proud of it. Keep up the blogging.
Jan from Brecksville, Ohio writes:
Meghan, you look great in the pictures. The book signing AND campaign trail suit you!! :) Kudos to Shannon for the great pics and video...I had the awesome and humbling privilege of meeting your Dad on the tarmac during a recent visit to Cleveland. It was wonderful to meet him personally and thank him for all he has done for us. What a guy!! Thanks so much for keeping us current on your blog. GO NAVY!!
Kelly from Atlanta, Georgia writes:
I just wanted to take a moment to commend you on your tremendous poise, heart felt responses and realism that you have brought to your recent catapult into the media circus I mean circuit. You are doing your father and a nation of eager young voters a wonderful service in the straight forward way you have brought his campaign and character to light. Your sensor of humor and easy going demeanor make you a joy to watch and read. Thank you for serving as a tremendous role model for young woman and for bringing to life, through your blog, the equally shining examples in your mother and grandmother. What a lucky man your father is to have such wonderful woman in his life, it is clear from where he gathers his strength! I applaud your efforts and I eagerly await the certain impact and unparalleled example you will not doubt be first daughter!
Kelly from Greenville, Texas writes:
Hey Meghan, I enjoy reading your blogs and looking at the photos and videos. I feel hip but am not as up to date on blogs as I should be. It seems you only hear the negative these days about blogs. Anyway, I am very excited about your dad being President and I am very excited about Sarah and what she brings to the ticket. You and your family along with Sarah and her family are in my prayers. I know its got to be gut wrenching to hear the negative things that are said about your parents and friends. As an American, I am very grateful to your father for his service to our country as a soldier, POW and as a Senator. Your mom is a very amazing woman in her own way also. Being male, I have always been around strong women. I love your moms drive and grit while all along raising a family. She has been blessed financially and she has in turn blessed many, many others in many ways. She could have done the opposite but I think it speaks to her character that she puts others first. You are also someone who puts others first and its no doubt you have followed in your parents steps by putting others first. To much is given, much is expected and you and your family have truly exceeded that...
