 "Linda Ramone"
POSTED BY MEGHAN AND PHOTOS BY HEATHER

I've mentioned before that if I had to pick my favorite band of all time, it would most likely be The Ramones. Johnny Ramone's band changed the rules for rock music from 1974 through the late 90's. Their music ignited the punk-rock movement and their style was ground-breaking, as was their loud, fast-paced music.  We might not have the "Guitar Hero" sensation of today were it not for The Ramones. Last year, I did a post on a particular song we selected of theirs that was featured on the site. So, you can imagine how thrilling it was to be able to spend time with a living legend in the history of rock music. Linda was so helpful and the volunteers were so excited to meet her. Thank you so much for coming out and getting involved, I know how much everyone appreciates it!
